In this more and more intelligent modern society,modern design with the social progress has also had the very big development.Chinese modern design has always contained elements of Chinese traditional culture.If we want the design of "Chinese style" to shine more and more on the world stage,we must go into the traditional culture,understand the traditional culture and analyze the traditional culture,but if we want to make the traditional culture go to the world better,we need to re-create,to bring forth new ideas in the tradition,and to make the traditional culture combine with the modern design better.Yangxin cloth stickers are traditional local arts and crafts in Yangxin County,Hubei Province.Rural Women in the region cut out the edges and corners of their garments to create colorful patterns on black or dark blue fabrics.It is used to decorate clothes,shoes and hats,shawls and other wear and curtain edge,ribbon,cloth pillow and children’s play,etc..The People’s Daily,Guangming Daily,China Culture Daily,decoration and many other newspapers and periodicals published pictures of their articles,it is said that Yangxin cloth paste has "impressive and soul-stirring artistic appeal." It has a history of more than 1,500 years,and is known as "the unique art of the magical east.".In this paper,the value and direction of the effective combination of the elements of Yangxin cloth and Visual communication are found by analyzing the characteristics of pattern,color,process and material,the application of the element of Yangxin cloth pasting and the design of local packing special products.For the packaging design of specialty products,the various elements related to cloth pasting have a profound history with the development of time in form,content or other aspects,which can provide rich content for use as material.And now people gradually realize the importance of national culture,attach more and more importance to national culture,combine the design of special products packaging with the related elements of the fabric pattern,not only show the profound history of China’s fabric paste culture,highlighting the national characteristics of packaging design,but also the design concept and design of the expansion.On the other hand,packaging,as a new carrier of cloth pasting culture,is a good window for the dissemination of the content of cloth pasting culture,and also an important way for the various traditional elements of cloth pasting culture to glow with new charm in modern times,the combination of the two has provided fertile soil for the development of traditional culture in modern times.This paper starts from the origin and development of Yangxin cloth pastes,and introduces the pattern characteristics of Yangxin cloth pastes from three aspects: Pattern modeling characteristics,pattern theme characteristics and pattern color characteristics,this paper explores the cultural connotation and characteristics,then analyzes the relationship between the cloth pasting elements and Yangxin County’s local specialty packaging,and enumerates relevant application cases.Finally,Yangxin Local Specialty Packaging Yangxin Yinba is used as a carrier,according to the characteristics and requirements of modern packaging,the design of special product packaging works not only conforms to the modern aesthetic,but also has the cultural characteristics of traditional fabric elements.
