Aluminum powder is widely used in industrial production.The oxidation exothermic reaction occurs after the aluminum powder is damp,which leads to serious fire and explosion accidents.Based on this background,this paper conducts systematic experiments and simulation calculations on the thermal kinetics of aluminum powder in water..The thermodynamic research on the reaction between aluminum particles and water is carried out through experiments and simulation calculations.The specific research content includes the following aspects:Research on the microscopic heat release characteristics of hydrated aluminum particles.The heat release of pure aluminum powder with different particle diameters is studied under different water contact and different heating rate.Through comparative analysis,under the same water contact and heating rate,the hydrothermal reaction of aluminum powder starts The time decreases with the decrease of the particle size;in the case of the same particle size and heating rate,the initial time of the hydrothermal reaction of aluminum powder increases with the decrease of the amount of water;in the case of the same particle size and the amount of water,The initial time of the hydrothermal reaction of aluminum powder decreases after the heating rate decreases;the activation energy of the autocatalytic reaction of the aluminum powder and water mass ratio 1:2 system is 73KJ/mol,and the activation energy of the n-stage reaction process is 71 KJ /mol.Numerical simulation of the heat transfer of hydrated aluminum particles in the stacked state is carried out.By establishing the aluminum-water reaction model,the initial heat source and the influence of the aluminum-water mass ratio on the hydrothermal reaction of aluminum powder are studied,and the hydrothermal reaction process of aluminum powder is obtained.Medium temperature distribution.Research on the heat release of the hydrated aluminum particle system in the stacked state,using the basket test method,place the sample aluminum powder in the basket,and test the heat release of the aluminum water reaction at normal temperature and pressure.Studies have shown that when the water content of the sample aluminum powder is 20%,the time required for the internal temperature of the sample aluminum powder to reach the highest temperature is the shortest.With the increase in the amount of water,the exothermic heat of the reaction between aluminum particles and water decreases with the increase of the amount of water.The experimental method and CFD software simulation calculation method are used to conduct thermodynamic research on the hydrous aluminum particle system.In the actual production and storage process,it is recommended that the enterprise increase the water content in the system during the process of involving the hydrous aluminum particle system to ensure that the water is contained.The aluminum particle system cannot cause the temperature of the system to rise after encountering a heat source or reaction heat,preventing heat accumulation in the system,causing thermal runaway of the system,and causing serious fire and explosion consequences.
