EDM has the advantages of low machining cost,no contact with the workpiece,no chip stress,and can process small complex cavity structure,and has been widely used in the fields of mold,military industry and other fields.However,the low processing efficiency has seriously hindered the development of the application of EDM.Aiming at the problem of low EDM efficiency,this thesis proposes a high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric.The high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric drives the electrode to adjust the machining gap between the electrode and the workpiece in real time,avoiding continuous short circuits during the machining process and promoting the elimination of corrosion products to improve EDM efficiency.It has played a positive role in promoting the application and development of EDM.First,the overall structure of the high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric is designed according to the EDM technical indicators.Secondly,the statics analysis of the high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator is carried out,and the magnification ratio mathematical model and stiffness model of the displacement amplification mechanism of the actuator are established,and the structure is optimized by using the model and ANSYS.The Lagrangian equation of motion was used to establish the dynamic model of the actuator.The PID closed-loop control system of high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric is designed,and MATLAB/simulink is used to simulate the response speed and dynamic output performance of the actuator.The experimental test system of high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric was built to verify the simulation results.The experimental results show that the displacement amplification ratio of the high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric can reach 15.2 times,and the response speed of three degrees of freedom is within 0.1s,which has the advantages of long stroke and fast response speed.An EDM machining experiment system of high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric was established and the machining experiment was verified.Compared with the traditional EDM efficiency analysis,it is shown that the installation of the high efficiency EDM electrode attitude adjustment actuator driven by piezoelectric can increase the machining efficiency by 61.6%,and the short circuit phenomenon is significantly reduced by analyzing the feedback voltage during the machining process.
