Ferrocenyl enaminones are multifunctional Schiff base ligands,which are of both nucleophilic properties of enamines and the electrophilic properties of enminones,and their transition metal complexes usually have good photoelectrochemical and catalytic properties.Synthetic reaction,structural characterization and related properties of N,O-bidentate ferrocenyl enaminones ligands and their transition metal complexes were well investigated in this thesis.Interactions betweeen ferrocene?-diketone and two equiv.of arylamine with different substituents in toluene in the presence of p-Ts OH afforded nine N,O-bidentate ferrocenyl enaminones ligands,namely 1-ferrocenyl-3-phenylamino-2-butene-1-one(HL1),1-ferrocenyl-3-(4-iodophenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL2),1-ferrocenyl-3-(4-chlorophenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL3),1-ferrocenyl-3-(4-methylphenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL4),1-ferrocenyl-3-(4-methoxyphenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL5),1-ferrocenyl-3-(2-methylphenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL6),1-ferrocenyl-3-(2-methoxyphenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL7),1-ferrocenyl-3-(2-fluorophenylamino)-2-butene-1-one(HL8)and 1-ferrocenyl-3-benzylamino-2-butene-1-one(HL9),respectively.Ligands HL1?HL9 were characterized by 1H NMR,19F NMR,FT-IR,and UV-vis spectroscopies,of which structures of HL1,HL2,HL3 and HL5?HL9 have been unambiguously established by single-crystal X-ray crystallography.The electrochemical properties of ligands HL1?HL9 were also testingly analyzed.Reaction of Cu(CH3COO)2 with two equal equiv.of HL1,HL3,HL5,HL6,HL7 and HL8 in the presence of CH3ONa in ethanol afforded copper complexes[Cu(L1)2](1),[Cu(L3)2](2),[Cu(L5)2](3),[Cu(L6)2](4),[Cu(L7)2](5)and[Cu(L8)2](6),respectively.Copper complexes 1?6 were characterized by 1H NMR,FT-IR and UV-vis spectroscopies,and of which structures of complexes 1 and 2 have been established by single-crystal X-ray crystallography.In addition,fluorescence and electrochemical properties of copper complexes 1?6 were also investigated.Treatment of cis-[Ru Cl2(dmso)4](dmso=dimethylsulfoxide)with two equal equiv.of HL1,HL3,HL6 and HL7 in the presences of Ag NO3 and CH3ONa in methanol/N,N'-Dimethylformamide gave the ruthenium complexes[Ru(L1)2(dmso)2](7),[Ru(L3)2(dmso)2](8),[Ru(L6)2(dmso)2](9)and[Ru(L7)2(dmso)2](10),respectively.Ruthenium complexes 7?10 were characterized by 1H NMR,FT-IR,and UV-vis spectroscopies,and fluorescence and electrochemical properties were also studied.Additionally,the photocatalytic properties for hydrogen production of complexes 7?10 under visible light were investigated.
