Real-time detection of blood glucose levels is critical for diabetic patients and among the various detection methods, electrochemical glucose sensors are of interest for their excellent sensitivity, selectivity, rapid response and low cost.Enzyme sensors are the most commonly used glucose sensors, but the complex immobilisation procedure, short lifetime and environmental dependence of enzymes do not meet the needs of dynamic real-time glucose monitoring,so enzyme-free glucose sensors are gradually coming into the limelight.Enzyme-free glucose sensors not only offer good stability and repeatability, but are also easily miniaturised, which is important for the integration of glucose sensors with other smart devices and systems. The aim of this paper is to investigate high-performance micro-enzyme-free glucose sensors suitable for human glucose detection, and the research mainly covers the aspects of high performance sensitive materials and the process of miniature enzyme-free glucose sensors, which mainly includes.1)In the research of high performance sensitive materials:combining the effects of surface structure and electronic structure on the reaction rate,we proposed the controlled synthesis of Co3O4 nanoparticles by hydrothermal method and the synthesis of three-dimensional Ni/Au nanowire arrays by template-assisted electrochemical deposition, and prepared a new enzyme-free glucose sensor by using the two prepared sensitive materials to modify the glassy carbon electrode. The enzyme-free glucose sensor based on Co3O4nanoparticles achieved a sensitivity of 2495.79?Am M-1cm-2,a detection limit of 9.3 n M and a fast response time of 8s in the linear range of 10 n M-100?M of glucose concentration. The three-dimensional Ni/Au composite nanowire array-based enzyme-free glucose sensor achieved a sensitivity of 5154.84?Am M-1cm-2,a detection limit of 10.69?M and a fast response time of 2.5 s over a glucose concentration range of 50?M-10 m M.2)In the process of miniature enzyme-free glucose sensor:the process of combining high-performance sensitive materials and devices was studied, and the idea of combining the preparation and loading of sensitive materials into one was proposed, and the miniature enzyme-free glucose sensor was realized by using microfabrication technology.Firstly, the Pt Ni bimetallic sensitive material was prepared by Raney's method, and the preparation and loading of the sensitive material were combined into one.The electrochemical tests showed that it has excellent sensing characteristics for glucose and is well suited for glucose concentration detection in human serum samples due to the ultra-wide detection range that matches the range of glucose concentration in human serum.
