| The corrosion damage caused by seawater environment and corrosive media to marine development equipment and machinery seriously restricts the efficient and stable operation of the equipment.CrN based hard coatings have broad application prospects in corrosive media owing to the excellent properties such as high hardness,wear resistance and corrosion resistance.In this paper,ZrN/CrZrN,CrN/CrZrN and CrN/CrAlN multilayer coatings were prepared by multi-arc ion plating technology.The effects of modulation period,modulation ratio and interface on the structure,mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of multilayer coatings were studied.Corrosion behavior in Na Cl solution and corrosion resistance mechanism of multilayer coatings were discussed.The main conclusions are listed as follows:1.The ZrN/CrZrN multilayer coatings and monolayer coating(ZrN and CrZrN)were prepared by multi-arc ion plating.By adjusting the thickness of ZrN layers,the effect of modulation ratio on the corrosion resistance of ZrN/CrZrN multilayer coatings was studied.The results show that ZrN/CrZrN multilayer coatings have high mechanical properties such as hardness and toughness.When the modulation ratio(t CrZrN/t ZrN)is 7.4:1,ZrN/CrZrN multilayer coatings have excellent corrosion resistance.Furthermore,CrZrN/ZrN multilayer coatings with high oxide content and dense multilayer structure and the local coherent interface enhanced interface strength inhibit the penetration and penetration of corrosive media and improve the corrosion resistance of the coating.2.CrZrN/ZrN and CrZrN/CrN multilayer coatings with different interfaces were prepared by multi-arc ion plating.CrZrN/CrN multilayer coatings have excellent corrosion resistance,with an impedance of 108?cm2.However,CrZrN/ZrN multilayer coatings have good mechanical properties,high hardness,and toughness.Meanwhile,CrZrN/ZrN multilayer coatings have better thermal stability.3.CrAlN/CrN multilayer coatings were prepared by multi-arc ion plating.By adjusting the deposition time of CrN and CrAlN layers,the effects of different modulation periods on the properties of CrAlN/CrN multilayer coatings were studied.It is found that(Al,Cr)N(111)crystal plane is the preferred orientation of CrAlN/CrN multilayer coatings.Different modulation periods have certain influence on the corrosion resistance of CrAlN/CrN multilayer coatings,especially when the modulation period of 85 nm,it has high hardness,elastic modulus,and excellent corrosion resistance. |
