Impact Prediction Based On Groundwater Modeling System In Groundwater Contamination

In this article,I build a groundwater flow model and transport model to predict and assess the effect of the chemical spill on groundwater environment.Field surveys,geophysical prospecting,pumping test,dispersion test,sampling and groundwater balance test were carried out in order to obtain the necessary parameters.Based on those works,conceptual modeling method of GMS software(Groundwater Modeling System)was used to build the model.Then,groundwater level and distribution data of the plume was used to calibrate the ground-water flow model and transport model.Finally,the calibrated model was used to predict and assess the contaminant transport status and the impaction on groundwater environment.
