The Impact Of Government Response Perception On The Credibility Of Environmental Governance At The Grass-roots Level

At present,environmental governance has become one of the main contents of public service of grass-roots governments,and the public trust of government environmental governance has become an important part of the public trust of grass-roots governments.Effective government response is the basis to enhance the public trust of the grass-roots government.Starting from cognition,this paper studies the impact of government response on the Public Trust of the grass-roots government in environmental governance,which not only enriches the content of Public Management Research in theory,it provides some reference for other fields,and explores a new way to improve the credibility of environmental governance of grass-roots governments.Based on the analysis of relevant literature,taking n street as basic unit,503 valid questionnaires were obtained through online questionnaire survey of residents in the district,this paper obtains the cognition of N Street residents to the government response and the present situation of the government’s environmental governance credibility,and analyzes the influence of the cognition of the government response on the environmental governance credibility of the grass-roots government,based on the analysis of two positive and negative cases,the main conclusions are as follows:First,in N Street,the cognition of government response and the credibility of government environmental governance are better than the average;Second,in N Street,there were no significant differences in the perception of government response and the credibility of government environmental governance among different gender groups and groups living or working locally at different times,there are significant differences in the perception of government response and the credibility of government environmental governance among different groups with different occupations and different educational background,the cognitive correlativity of different age groups to the government response is significant,but the difference to the government environmental governance credibility is not significant.Third,in N Street,the government response and its three dimensions of cognition are positively correlated with the government’s environmental governance credibility,and the government response and its three dimensions of cognition are positively predictive of the government’s environmental governance credibility.On the basis of the conclusion,this paper puts forward the cognition of improving government response by paying attention to public participation,improving government response capacity and improving environmental governance capacity,some suggestions on how to improve the credibility of n street government’s environmental governance.
