Rail transport has been occupying a very important position in our transportation system,especially in recent years,the rapid development of China railway high-speed,But the rail track once damaged,especially rail fracture,which often leads to serious accidents,cause heavy casualties and major economic losses.In order to avoid these accidents,time monitoring breaking state of the track is very significance.By analyzing the broken rail detection of the current railway demand,according to the needs design of a rail track break real-time monitoring and positioning systems for the seamless long line.This system can time monitoring of rail usage.Once the rail broken,the system will automatically alarm,and achieve the broken track location function.Railway scene all the monitoring information can be remotely controlled and received through the wireless module,which made the test and maintenance convenient.In this paper,the overall structure and implementation of the system has been formulated.The system consists of transmitter and receiver ultrasonic guided wave signals,the broken rail monitoring function is based on the principle of pulse transmission.We designed a system monitoring features in line with the requirements of the excitation pulse signal through theoretical analysis and practical tests,and the signal transmitted by the transmitting terminal of the system;Signal detection method is proposed based on time-frequency domain characteristics of the composite,at the receiving terminal for ultrasonic guided wave signal characteristic signals and other interference noise field signal distinction belongs to the system to achieve the effect of filtering.In the realization of broken-track locating functions,by using the traditional pulse-echo method,and getting broken track position indirectly through the characteristics of the signal echo time.The system will echo time for multiple measurements,and the use of certain methods into the filter,removing large error value,so that the value of time to obtain higher reliability,which increases the accuracy of the system broken-track locating.Eventually the entire system architecture of ARM-CotexM3 STM32F03 processor as the core control algorithm,and design the communication protocols for the system.After the completion of the system hardware and software design,we built environment system test lab,and the development of the functions of the system is verified by experiment.In order to improve the follow-up system,we set the scene in the actual railway system equipment installed for a long experiment to monitor and data collection.The monitoring system compared with the traditional detection method,can real-time monitoring and targeting in twenty-four hour,and is not affected by the railroad track bed parameters,etc.,and doesn’t affect the normal operation of the train when using,according to the monitoring requirements of the system,designed the excitation pulse signal and algorithms which extracting the signal feature in the field can achieve a good filtering effect,rail broken blind positioning within 75 meters range,positioning error control within 5 meters.
