| Reverse osmosis membrane water treatment technology was widely used in the water treatment industry as a solution for water shortages and water pollution problems with the context of sustainable development and environmental protection.The problem of reverse osmosis membrane pollution restricts the development and application of reverse osmosis membrane water treatment technology,which reduces the water treatment efficiency and shortens the service life of reverse osmosis membrane.Adding reverse osmosis membrane antiscalant is the simplest and most effective way to prevent membrane fouling.With the application of reverse osmosis membrane technology,reverse osmosis membrane antiscalant becomes research hotspot in water treatment industry.At present,the domestic antiscalant market is mainly occupied by expensive imported products.Therefore,the development of phosphorus-free,green,efficient and economical domestic reverse osmosis membrane antiscalant has great significance to the development of water treatment industry.In this article,we used nano-spherical polyelectrolyte brushes as template,styrene and acrylic monomers as raw materials,developed spherical polyelectrolyte brush antiscalant(SPBA)through conventional emulsion polymerization and photoemulsion polymerization.The SPBA was characterized by dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy.The results showed that SPBA was a kind of polymer assembly with core-shell structure and regular morphology,narrow particle size distribution and good dispersibility.The cyclic dynamic scale inhibition evaluation method was used to evaluate the inhibition performance of SPBA.The results showed that SPBA had better performance than imported antiscalants MDC-220 and ASD-200.At the same time,explored the influence of water hardness,temperature,length of the chain,mass concentration on the scale inhibition effect and scale inhibition mechanism of SPBA.On this basis,the process simplification and optimization of the SPBA experimental program were carried out,and a suitable photoreactor was selected for pilot synthesis experiment of 5 L.The scale inhibition performance evaluation experiment results showed that the pilot product SPBA-3 prepared by the self-designed photoreactor had the equivalent scale inhibition performance of the laboratory sample SPBA,and its scale inhibition effect in the field experiment was better than imported agent ASD-200 increased by 10%.The development of antiscalant for reverse osmosis membrane which use nano-spherical polyelectrolyte brushes as template has great research value,broad market prospects and considerable economic benefits.The research results provided an important reference for the practical application and industrial production of SPBA. |
