With the rapid development of China’s economy,the number of cars is increasing,and driving fatigue leads to more and more traffic accidents.On the one hand,the development of automotive automation technology has replaced the operation tasks of some drivers,making the driving tasks easier and alleviating the active fatigue caused by long-time driving to a certain extent;on the other hand,the automation system turns the driver’s role from the controller to the monitor,which makes the passive fatigue more likely to occur,and brings about the decrease of driver’s attention and alertness Down.This brings forward a new topic for the driver fatigue research under the current L2 level automatic driving technology.By comparing the differences of visual information processing in different driving scenes and technical conditions,combined with the related research results of driving fatigue,this paper analyzes the causes of driving fatigue under L2 level automatic driving technology,and puts forward the corresponding fatigue regulation measures.Finally,by analyzing the law of driver’s attention level changing with time in the process of driving,the appropriate time to adjust the fatigue to maintain the attention level is proposed,and the driving fatigue intervention under L2 level automatic driving condition is carried out.The main work includes:(1)By collecting EEG signals related to visual processing during driving,the differences of brain activity on visual information processing of driving environment in four driving tasks(urban and grassland two scenes × artificial and L2 automatic driving two technical conditions)were analyzed and compared.It is found that different from monotonous driving,lack of information is not the main cause of L2 level automatic driving fatigue,and automation technology itself is an important cause of driver fatigue.(2)Combined with the related research results of driving fatigue,it is pointed out that the interruption of driver’s "perception decision execution" information processing cycle caused by automation technology reduces the driver’s willingness to perceive and make decisions on external environment information,and leads to the decline of driver’s wake-up level,which is the main reason for driver fatigue under L2 level automatic driving.It is proposed that "feedback" replace "execution" which is replaced by automation technology,and reconstruct the information processing cycle of "perception decision feedback",so as to stimulate the driver’s willingness to further perceive and make decisions on the external environment information,improve the driver’s wake-up level and relieve the driver’s passive fatigue.(3)It is pointed out that the appropriate time for fatigue intervention to improve the overall level of attention is at the inflection point of the driver’s attention level decline after the first self fatigue adjustment.In the city and other complex driving scenes,according to the overall statistics of drivers,the appropriate intervention time is 20-25 minutes.In this paper,the differences of information processing of drivers under different driving conditions are studied,and the generation mechanism of driver fatigue under L2 level condition is obtained by combining with the relevant fatigue theory.The time-varying law of driver attention is further studied,and the fatigue delay measures are put forward combined with the fatigue mechanism.The research content has certain significance to improve the driving safety.
