Analysis And Comparison Of Lake Tai And Lake Biwa

This study compares the status of Lake Biwa and Lake Tai from 2007 to 2017,as well as ecological changes from economic development to the present.Lake Biwa’s governance,ecological protection,public participation and other aspects have reached a mature stage,and non-point source pollution is also well controlled,so it provides valuable experience for Lake Tai’s current repair breakthrough,and is also a model worth learning.The following research explores the remediation stages and measures of the two lakes through data analysis from water quality changes,biological and land use status,environmental laws and technical comparisons,and explores and analyzes the basic problems of Tai Lake’s repair efforts.Based on the achievements of Lake Biwa,this thesis discusses suggestions for improvement of Lake Tai restoration efforts.
