Antimony is a toxic element,which affects human health and is carcinogenic.In recent years,due to the exploitation of a large number of antimony ores and the increasing use of antimony-containing products,more and more antimony is released into the environment.Without effective supervision,it will endanger human health and even threaten human life.So antimony pollution has attracted more and more attention.At present,many technologies can be used to treat antimony-containing wastewater,including ion exchange,membrane separation,coagulation and flocculation,electrochemistry,adsorption and so on,among which,the adsorption approach is easy to handle and has good effect on dealing with antimony.Therefore,the adsorption methiod is widely applied in the field of sewage treatment.Therefore,this research developed a newfashioned adsorbent with honeycomb structure,which is formed by mesporous carbon nanospheres with iron oxides(mPCS@Fe2O3).The adsorbent has the advantages of large adsorption capacity and easy preparation.The results showed that mPCS@Fe2O3 provides a high removal rate at low concentration and high removal capacity at high concentration.The theoretical maximum Sb(III)adsorption capacity can reach to 233.6 mg/g.Moreover,the adsorbent has a wide range of applications and good removal ability for antimony in a wide range of pH.When there are other coexisting anions in the solution,it has less influence on the removal of Sb.In addition,in order to avoid the secondary pollution of solid waste,the adsorbent can be processed into high-efficiency catalyst.Aniline is an important chemical intermediate,which can be used to synthesize fine chemicals such as pesticides and dyes.Therefore,the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds to aromatic amines plays an important role in organic synthesis reduction.At present,many substances are used as hydrogen donors to reduce aromatic nitro compounds,such as hydrazine hydrate,hydrogen,isopropanol,sodium borohydride,ammonia borane and so on.Among them,hydrazine hydrate as a hydrogen source has the advantages of environmental protection,mild reaction conditions and high conversion.Therefore,the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds with hydrazine hydrate to prepare aromatic amines will become an environmental-friendly and simple way.The dirty adsorbent after the adsorption process can be processed prepared into catalyst after calcination activation.Hydrazine hydrate is used as hydrogen source.The catalyst shows good catalytic activity in catalytic hydrogenation of aromatic nitro compounds.It can effectually solve the secondary pollution problem of waste adsorbent,turning the waste is turned into treasure.And it is of great significance to resource utilization and environmental protection.
