David Harvry’s View Of Ecological Justice

With the continuous advancement of globalization,the relationship between human and nature has become more and more close and inseparable.Ecological injustice has become an important factor hindering the development of human society.Based on the Marxist ecological justice thoughts,Harvey seriously analyzed the ecological injustice phenomenon in today’s capitalist society,and formed a unique ecological justice view in the theoretical interpretation and practical concern,which opened up a new ecological perspective for people to correctly understand the essence of capitalism and provided a useful reference for further solving the problem of ecological injustice and building China’s ecological civilization Enlightenment.To systematically discuss Harvey’s ecological justice view,this article is divided into four parts.The introductory section points out the theoretical essentials and practical significance of studying Harvey’s view of ecological justice by sorting out the current status of domestic and international research,and explains the research ideas,contents,methods,as well as innovations and shortcomings.Chapter 1 focuses on the analysis of the background and ideological sources of Harvey’s ecological justice view.Chapter 2 systematically explains the main contents of Harvey’s ecological justice,including the connotation and essence of ecological justice,Harvey’s criticism of capitalist ecological injustice and his conception of the path to realize ecological justice.Chapter 3 provides a general evaluation of Harvey’s view of ecological justice,pointing out its rationality and limitations,and exploring the useful inspiration provided by Harvey’s view of ecological justice to the construction of ecological civilization in China.
