| Nanoporous platinum-iron(PtFeNPore)is a new type of nanomaterial consisting of nanopores and ligments.PtFeNPore has a large specific surface area, stable structure and high catalytic activity. In this paper, various characterization methods including scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAFS)were used to study the composition and structure of PtFeNPore. And the hydrogenation of nitroaromatics was realized under mild conditions(room temperature,H2 balloon)using PtFeNPore as the catalyst.Nitroarenes with reducible groups such as halogen, carbonyl, ester and cyano could be hydrogenated to corresponding aromatic amines in 83–96%yields with excellent chemoselectivity. After the catalyst was recycled 5 times,it still had high catalytic activity and excellent chemoselectivity. And there was no metal ion leaching in the reaction solution. The mechanism investigation revealed the heterolytic cleavage of H–H bond and the formation of Pt–H species. The Pt-H species and Fe3+existing in the catalyst made the PtFeNPore have good catalytic activitation and excellent chemoselectivity. |
