| As a basic chemical raw material,methanol is mainly used in the production of formaldehyde,acetic acid,chloromethane,methyl amine and other products.And it is also one of the important raw materials for pesticide and medicin.As an important oil additive,methanol has developed rapidly in recent years and has a wide range of application prospects.At the same time,methanol production process is relatively mature,suitable for mass production,trading and other characteristics.In the downward environment of the coal industry,coal deep processing to methanol project is used to extend the industrial chain and improve coal value-added new outlet by the major coal mining enterprises and other related enterprises.With the start-up of coal-to-methanol project,various problems in the production process are gradually exposed.Among the problems of methanol synthesis catalyst,the following problems such as catalyst pulverization,excessive pressure difference,sulfur poisoning,chlorine poisoning as well as ammonia poisoning,etc.have been deeply studied.The mechanism of poisoning and corresponding measures are relatively perfect,and good practical results have been achieved.However,there are few reports,researches or practices about carbonyl metal poisoning in China,although it also puzzles many enterprises in China.In the paper,it is based on the production practice of a methanol production enterprise in Shanxi Province,and the judgment of catalyst carbonyl metal poisoning in methanol production,the selection,application and optimization of protective agents were deeply studied.The results showed that in the early stage of carbonyl metal poisoning,the catalyst yield was not obvious affected,but the activity of catalyst decreased obviously with the increase of poisoning.Based on the determination of carbonyl metal content in syngas and the actual operation of the plant as a whole,the loading amount of carbonyl metal absorbent was calculated,and a new operation idea was proposed according to the reaction characteristics of carbonyl metal absorbent,a series of problems such as sharp rise of bed and outlet,serious wax deposition at the initial stage of gas connection as well as high temperature fluctuation of catalyst bed and large pressure difference of the system were all solved.But in the application practice,the catalyst still showed obvious disadvantage of iron poisoning in the later period,and could not reach the expected service life.Thus much more further research and optimization are still needed. |
