| Coordinating economic development and environmental conservation have become a popular research topic, which arise widespread attention from government and scholars around the world. To Realize a win-win situation between economic and environment is beneficial for government. At the same time,it’s a critical and difficult challenge for relevant departments. At present,GTFP(Green Total Factor Productivity)is a crucial index mirroring the high-quality progress of the economy. It can reflect the quality of economic growth more scientifically and reasonably, and its improvement will can be used to guide the improvement of the quality of future economic development.Construction industry, one of the important and basic industries in China, make a great contribution to economic development while pose a threat to ecological environment. At the same time, the regional development of China’s construction industry is unbalanced, which directly leads to the obvious differences in regional GTFP of construction industry. Moreover, the GTFP of China’s construction industry is not independent among provinces, and neighboring provinces will also have an impact on it.Therefore,it is of great significance to clarify the spatial distribution and contributing factors of the GTFP of the construction industry, which contributes for the government to formulate targeted policies that optimizes the GTFP of the construction industry and enhance the construction industry quality.Based on the above issues, this paper comprehensively considers the regional differences among provinces and cities in China, and take the spatial factors into account throughout the entire study: This study applies the neutral cross efficiency evaluation model to calculate the GTFP of construction industry in 30 provinces and cities in China from 2005 to 2017,and analyzes the GTFP of construction industry in China from the national, regional and provincial levels Productivity trends. On this basis,Arc GIS is used to draw the spatial pattern distribution map of GTFP of China’s construction industry.Besides, the spatial distribution characteristics of Arc GIS are greatly depicted. What is more, global and partial spatial autocorrelation check is also further achieved by Geoda to research its spatial correlationship. Finally, this research conducted an empirical study on the relationship between each factor and the GTFP of the construction industry by constructing a panel space measurement model, and analyzed the main factors affecting the GTFP of the construction industry in China considering the spatial effect.Put forward a series of corresponding policy recommendations to improve the GTFP of the building industry.Whose results indicate that:(1)The GTFP of China construction industry shows a fluctuating upward trend from 2005 to 2017,with a cumulative growth rate of 25.59%,and an average annual growth rate of 1.97%;the GTFP of construction industry in Central South and Northwest China grew the fastest, with an average annual growth rate of 3.43% and 3.35%respectively.(2)The GTFP of China’s construction industry shows a certain spatial agglomeration feature in space, and is characterized by "high in the east and low in the west";at the same time, the GTFP of the construction industry has obvious spatial correlation and its spatial distribution It is closely related to economic development,so the driving role of spatial spillover is not allowed neglect.(3)Environmental rules and industrial progress exert a vitally positive influence on the GTFP of construction industry; The energy consumption structure and urbanization level have a significant negative impact on the GTFP of the construction industry. This research first explore the spatial distribution of GTFP in China’s construction industry and the influencing factors of GTFP in considering spatial effects. The research provides a scientific basis for policy makers to formulate policies and measures to improve GTFP,which will help the country improve regional governance capabilities and promote coordinated regional development. |
