With the progress of science and technology and the growth of population,the energy consumption of the world is increasing rapidly.Environmental pollution and energy shortages have gradually become the important factors affecting the further development of human society.The development of green,efficient and clean energy has become an important issue that we must face.Proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)has the advantages of economic efficiency,fuel diversification,low noise,low environmental pollution,reliability and maintainability,etc.,and has very good application and development prospects.The research goal of this paper is to design and implement a test platform for small proton exchange membrane fuel cells,which provides a good hardware foundation of experiments,researches,control and optimization for fuel cells.The main tasks completed in this paper are as follows:Firstly,a model is established by COMSOL Multiphysics finite element simulation analysis software for simulation,then the influence of various operating parameters on the output characteristics of the fuel cell is studied.According to the results obtained by the simulation analysis,the parameters and basic functions of the fuel cell test platform required is determined,and the design requirements for the test system are further proposed.Secondly,a new scheme of air intake humidity control was proposed according to the design requirements of the experimental platform.The upper and lower computer system,gas supply system,gas parameter control system,and gas parameter control system of the experimental platform were designed,as well as PEMFC operation control system and the data acquisition system.According to the hardware functions required by each system,hardware selection and experimental platform construction were carried out.After that,the systems were integrated,and the overall hardware design of the test platform was completed.Thirdly,the test system program is designed and implemented according to the software function requirements of the system.The programming of the upper and lower computers are completed.The platform has functions such as data acquisition,data displaying,data storage,real-time control of various operating parameters,monitoring and alarming,etc.The assembled experimental platform can meet the design requirements in this part.Finally,the software and hardware of the test platform were debugged according to the design of the hardware system and the design of the software system.The humidity control PID parameter setting experiment optimized the dynamic response of the gas humidity control system,and the feasibility of the humidity control is verified.Finally,the parameter influence experiment of a single cell is carried out using the fuel cell platform,which successfully verified the overall function of the testing platform system.
