Iron tailing sand block is made of iron tailing sand as the main raw material plus cement and additives.The iron tailing sand blocks with iron tailing sand as the main raw material and meeting the three strength requirements of MU7.5,MU10.0 and MU15.0 are tested.The water absorption test,volume density test,compression test,bending test and durability test with 15,25 and 35 freeze-thaw cycles as variables were carried out for the finished iron tailings sand block.Block A with the same mix ratio was made for contrast test.Using iron tailing sand to prepare iron tailing sand blocks with MU7.5,MU10.0 and MU15.0 strength requirements,Among them,when iron tailing sand:cement:fly ash:ore powder=75:17.5:3.75:3.75 and water to material ratio is 5.4%,its compressive strength meets MU15.0 standard requirements.The water absorption rate of block Q and block A is 12.00%,which meets the national requirement of water absorption rate of block(?)18%;The average volume density of blocks is 1920kg/m~3,which is greater than that of ordinary sintered bricks,which is 1800kg/m~3.The compressive strength of the blocks made with the corresponding mix ratio meets the relevant performance requirements;Under the same mix ratio,the compressive strength of block A is slightly higher than that of block Q,and the flexural strength of block A is lower than that of block Q;After 35 freeze-thaw cycles,mass loss rates of block Q and block A are both less than 5%.Except for MU15.0,the strength loss rate of A block is 25.63%>25%,all the others meet the requirements of block materials in the"Uniform technical code for wall materials used in buildings",The strength loss rate of block A under the same mix ratio is greater than that of block Q.Figure 62;Table 38;Reference 67...
