Naphthalene diimides(NDIs),plays an important role in the field of organic conjugated photoelectric materials as a basic unit for the expansion of organic conjugated molecules.NDIs has been widely concerned and recognized in the application of organic electronic devices by virtue of its electron-lack characteristics,stability and planar properties of molecules.At the same time,in recent years,some achievements have been made in the research and synthesis of NDIs.However,there are few reports on the synthesis of three dimensional organic conjugated small molecules using NDIs as a unit.The main problem is that there are few three-dimensional building units and it is difficult to bridge the NDIs molecular unit.Moreover,compared with the original threedimensional molecular structure unit,it.is more difficult to redesign and.synthesize a new three-dimensional structure core unit based on the extension and expansion of its core.Based on the above problems,compared with the bridging expansion of the core molecules of the traditional three-dimensional structure unit,this paper firstly expands the NDIs as the core unit,and then synthesizes the three-dimensional dimer compounds based on the NDIs’ core unit through the way of subunit construction.This subject mainly studied the reaction of acene molecules with different degrees of conjugation and NDIs structural units to synthesize azaphthalimide acene molecules of different lengths,and then realize three-dimensional dimer compounds through oxidation reaction and cycloaddition reaction.The synthesis of Dimer-3B,Dimer-4B,Dimer-5B and Dimer-4BC1 four three-dimensional dimer compounds were synthesized.The molecular mechanism of the three-dimensional dimer Dimer3B and the interaction among solid molecules were determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction.The basic optical properties of different molecules and the stability of the dimer were studied by ultraviolet absorption spectra.Finally,on the basis of the three-dimensional dimer Dimer-4B,further functional modification was carried out,and the chlorine atom was successfully introduced to prepare the three-dimensional dimer Dimer-4BC1,which provided a new reaction site for the three-dimensional dimer compound.We hope to further modify the three-dimensional dimer on this basis to connect new structural units to achieve further functional modification of the three-dimensional dimer.
