In the Yangtze River Delta region(including Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Shanghai,and Anhui),the GDP of the secondary industry in 2019 reached 9702.124 billion yuan,a year-on-year increase of 6.37%,accounting for a quarter of the country’s secondary industry GDP.The rapid development of industrialization will inevitably bring about changes in the ecological environment.The inevitable "development before governance" has led to frequent environmental problems such as water pollution and air pollution in the Yangtze River Delta,and the task of environmental improvement is still arduous.In order to improve the quality of the industrial ecology in the Yangtze River Delta region and promote high-quality and sustainable development in the region,this paper uses the super-efficiency SBM model and the Malmquist index model based on static and dynamic perspectives,respectively,using panels from 27 central cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2011 to 2019.Data,comprehensive evaluation and quantification of the industrial ecological efficiency at the city level,and further using the Tobit regression model to find the factors affecting industrial production efficiency.The results show that(1)The study found that the overall industrial eco-efficiency is on the rise,and the industrial eco-efficiency of Shanghai in particular is far ahead of other cities.(2)The M index of the cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta is all greater than 1,and it is increasing year by year,in which technological progress has played a huge role in promoting it.(3)The level of govemment governance and technological investment have a positive impact on industrial ecological efficiency.Industrial structure,degree of opening to the outside world,and economic development level have a significant negative correlation with industrial ecological efficiency.Talent investment has no obvious relationship with industrial ecological efficiency.In response to the above results,it is proposed that the government should formulate ecological environment policies;restore and improve ecological integration;improve scientific and technological support;encourage and support environmentally friendly enterprises;optimize the industrial structure;establish an industrial ecological efficiency constraint mechanism.From the enterprise level,strengthen the main body consciousness,control the use of resources and pollutant emissions in all aspects of production,improve the management level,make good use of the scale efficiency,improve the innovative research and development capabilities,and optimize the energy utilization structure.As the leader of the Yangtze River Economic Zone,the Yangtze River Delta region’s development model and results are of great reference significance for other regions that urgently need to improve eco-efficiency.Therefore,exploring the relationship between industrial ecology and economic development in the Yangtze River Delta region will help effectively strengthen the Yangtze River Delta region.The regional green economic development competitiveness provides theoretical guidance and policy recommendations for its high-quality development in a targeted manner,and then provides quantitative support for the evaluation of regional industrial eco-efficiency and provides relevant suggestions for its effective improvement.It has broad application prospects.Figure[5]Table[11]Reference[100]...
