Research On The Expression Of Ceramic Comprehensive Decoration Of DunHuang Mural Subject Matter

Dunhuang is like a bright pearl in the history of Chinese Buddhism,and Dunhuang mural art is a rare treasure of Buddhist art in my country.After Buddhism was introduced to my country along the Silk Road in the Han Dynasty,Dunhuang gradually became an important Buddhist town in the Western Regions.During the Beiliang period of the Sixteen Kingdoms,Buddhist believers began to dig caves here,and the murals in the caves have been painted since Beiliang.Lasting until the Yuan Dynasty,among them,the oldest frescoes in Dunhuang have a history of more than a thousand years.Dunhuang frescoes witness and record the history of Buddhism in China,and have formed a rich variety of picture types due to the change of times.The color matching,character modeling,and scene design all show their unique artistic charm.Today,Dunhuang murals have become a popular subject in the current art field,and ceramic art works with this theme are emerging one after another.This paper analyzes and sorts out the picture categories,style characteristics,and reasons for the changes of Dunhuang frescoes.Combining the expression techniques of Dunhuang frescoes in modern art works and the expressions of Dunhuang frescoes in ceramic works,it explores on-glaze decoration and under-glaze decoration.And the characteristics of comprehensive decoration.Through the images,elements and cultural symbols in Dunhuang frescoes,study the technique,use,material combination,and visual effects of comprehensive ceramic decoration,and explore the expression of Dunhuang fresco theme in comprehensive ceramic decoration that conforms to cultural development and contemporary aesthetics.
