Safety accidents involving casualties of workers in confined spaces have occurred repeatedly.The accidents are mainly due to the confinement of the confined space leading to restricted environmental ventilation,which in turn causes a large number of toxic and harmful gases to accumulate and become poisoned.Accidents in confined spaces can be as minor as unconsciousness or as serious as life threatening.Workers need to be supervised and protected during the operation to avoid poisoning accidents in confineded spaces with restricted access and ventilation.This thesis uses the most basic safety helmet for workers’ labor insurance products,combined with single-chip technology,communication technology,database technology,Internet technology,etc.,to design an intelligent safety helmet and its management system that can be used in confined spaces.This thesis analyzes the functional requirements of the intelligent safety helmet system based on common operating scenarios and hazards in confined space accidents,completes the design of the intelligent safety helmet collection function and management platform,and combines various environmental parameter collection units with the helmet,carry out device selection,circuit and driver design for the hardware modules required by the smart safety helmet function.Data information related to the intelligent safety helmet is transmitted from the communication control unit to the monitoring terminal,and the information management platform of the monitoring terminal stores the parameters in the cloud database via the One NET cloud platform.The cloud platform interface can view the monitoring data on the computer side.The information management platform of the monitoring terminal is an Andriod-based cell phone application,which allows relevant operators and supervisors to set parameter thresholds and alarm types according to their work tasks and to query data such as the environmental parameters of confined space and the vital characteristics of operators wearing safety helmets.Through the test results of the intelligent safety helmet designed in this thesis,the intelligent helmet can complete the environmental parameters detection,operator heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring function,the management platform can view data monitoring and personnel management and other functions.This thesis combines the monitoring system with labor protection supplies,completes the design of the intelligent safety helmet and its management system,and realizes the real-time monitoring of the confined space environment and worker status,in order to protect the life and property safety of the construction personnel in the confined space and improve the management department’s safety.Management efficiency has very important practical significance.
