The Influence Of Intellectual Capital On Firm Performance

This paper selects Fuyao Group as the case company to study the impact of the new concept of intellectual capital on enterprise performance.This analysis sorts out and summarizes the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on intellectual capital and enterprise performance,expounds the specific connotation of intellectual capital,discusses the meaning of enterprise performance,and briefly introduces its constituent elements and specific measurement methods.The three elements model of intellectual capital(h-s-c model),which is generally accepted by the academic circles,makes quantitative and qualitative analysis on the influence of on the enterprise performance of Fuyao Group,and reflects the relationship between the enterprise performance and the three elements of intellectual capital from two aspects of data and management practice.Then,the value-added coefficient of intelligence(VAIC)is introduced to compare the value-added coefficient of intellectual capital with that of physical capital.Finally,the paper quantifies the impact of Book Financial Indicators on the performance of Fuyao Group from the following perspectives: profitability,solvency,development ability and operation ability,and reveals the overall impact of intellectual capital on the performance of Fuyao Group.Through the research,the following four conclusions are obtained(1)There is a positive proportional relationship between the following three value-added factors and the comprehensive performance of Fuyao Group,which are human capital value-added,relational capital value-added and structural capital value-added.And it is higher than the value-added of material capital,so enterprises must pay attention to the intellectual capital;(2)Human capital is the most important part of intellectual capital.Knowledge,skills and experience,leadership ability and R&D investment are the four dimensions of human capital.With the accumulation of different human capital,the product quality and service ability of enterprises will be improved,which will reduce production costs,form the core competitiveness of enterprises,and have a positive impact on the performance of enterprises The positive effects of the two factors are analyzed.(3)Structural capital is divided into two elements: management mode and corporate culture.These two elements can affect the performance of enterprises by affecting the operating costs and corporate image respectively.Enterprises need to continue to deepen the construction of lean and Fuyao culture,enhance enterprise cohesion and operational efficiency,and establish a good brand image.(4)The main benefits of relational capital to enterprises lie in long-term and potential benefits,reducing costs and increasing efficiency,strengthening customer relationship and driving enterprise development.
