In recent years,the adhesion of multifunctional gel soft materials has been an international frontier research hotspot.Modern functional adhesives require excellent long-term adhesion,high strength and resistance to various harsh environments,and these characteristics have led to more and more complex structures and more difficult synthesis of adhesives.In this paper,a series of low molecular weight supramolecular eutectic gel adhesives and polymer eutectic gel adhesives were successfully developed,and their assembly mechanism,adhesion properties and environmental adaptability were studied respectively.The research work of the dissertation is mainly divided into the following three aspects:First,commercially available alkyl trimethyl ammonium bromides(CnTAB,n=6,8,10,12,14,16 and 18,where n represents the alkyl chain length)were used in various deep eutectic solvents(DESs)were prepared in a series of low molecular weight supramolecular eutectic gels.Structure-activity relationship studies showed that alkyl chain length and DES species had significant effects on the gel properties of CnTAB.Molecular dynamics simulation results showed that C12TAB formed spherical micelles in aqueous solution,while in the same concentration of choline chloride-urea(Ch Cl-Urea)DES,a continuous interpenetrating 3D network structure was formed,resulting in excellent injectability and Low molecular weight supramolecular eutectic gels with higher storage modulus(G’>107 Pa).Secondly,through the adhesion performance test of C12TAB/Ch Cl-Urea eutectic gel,the results show that it has strong adhesion performance,and can quickly(~2 min)and firmly bond various materials in the air.Such as hydrophilic glass/metal surface,hydrophobic PVDF/PTFE surface,porous wood surface,etc.Not only that,the C12TAB/Ch Cl-Urea eutectic gel can be used underwater,in various organic solvents(such as acetone,acetonitrile,cyclohexane,and n-hexane)and in ultra-low temperature environments(–40,–80,and–196°C).C)Strong in situ adhesion is performed.Structure-activity relationship studies and molecular dynamics simulation calculations indicate that the synergistic interaction between the CnTAB network,the deep eutectic solvent and the substrate enables the CnTAB eutectic gel to adhere quickly and firmly to various materials.This supramolecular eutectic gel adhesive constructed based on the small molecule self-assembly strategy provides a new idea for the design and synthesis of novel low molecular weight supramolecular adhesives.Finally,based on the DESs system,we further developed a series of polymer eutectogel adhesives with excellent self-adhesive properties.Experimental results show that poly-N-[(3-(dimethylamino)propyl]methacrylamide(PDMAPAM)in hydrophobic DES decanoic acid-menthol(DA-menthol)can form a polymer with strong and tough mechanical properties The eutectic gel has a tensile rupture strength of 3.5 MPa.Due to its super cohesive energy and multiple surface-interface interactions,PDMAPAM/DA-menthol eutectic gel exhibits excellent interfacial self-adhesion Its self-adhesion strength to glass is as high as 600.0 k Pa,and it can easily withstand a load of~70 kg,which has broad application prospects in the fields of engineering and materials.
