| Glass-lined equipment combines the strength of metal and enamel’s excellent properties of corrosion resistance,abrasion resistance,insulation and easy cleaning.It is widely used in the production of chemical,pharmaceutical,food,and other industries.As a brittle material,enamel has low fracture toughness and sensitivity to cracks,which makes enamel have certain limitations in the use process.Enamel is susceptible to external force or internal stress during use,resulting in local cracks,cracking,and falling off,which seriously endangers production safety.Therefore,the research on improving the mechanical properties of enamel and prolonging the service life becomes extremely important.Therefore,the influence of additives(Ni/Si3N4w/Si O2)on enamel structure,mechanical properties,and corrosion resistance was studied by introducing additives into enamel in this paper.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The effect of nickel particles on the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of enamel.The addition of nano-nickel particles leads to an increase in the glass transition temperature and porosity of the enamel.When the addition amount is 1wt.%,the flexural strength and bending strain at break increase by 10%and 50%respectively;the fracture toughness reaches the highest(the load differenceΔF increases by 13%,and the strain differenceΔεincreases by 40%),and also have good acid and alkali corrosion resistance.The added nickel particles have good compatibility with enamel and can consume crack energy through plastic deformation,crack deflection,bridging cracks,etc.When cracks occur,thereby enhancing the toughness of enamel.(2)The effect of silicon nitride whiskers on the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of enamel.The addition of silicon nitride whisker can increase the surface roughness of enamel;when the content of silicon nitride whisker is 0.5 wt.%,the cross-sectional porosity is reduced by 60%;the hardness reaches the highest;the tensile strength and strain are improved by 4%and 17%respectively;the flexural strength and strain are increased by 14%and 17%respectively;the fracture toughness reaches the highest(the load differenceΔF increased by 94%and strain differenceΔεincreased by12%).The addition of silicon nitride whisker is beneficial to the acid and alkali corrosion resistance of enamel.Silicon nitride whiskers in enamel can effectively enhance the toughness of enamel through crack deflection,whisker bridging,and whisker pulling.(3)The effect of nano-silica on mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of enamel.When the content of nano-silica particles is 2 wt.%,the surface roughness of enamel is the lowest,the surface is flat and smooth,and the hardness reaches the highest;with the increase of the content,the glass transition temperature gradually increases,and the porosity of the section decreases with the increase of the content;the tensile strength and strain are increased by 6%and 8%respectively;the fracture toughness reaches the highest(and the load differenceΔF increased by 13%,the strain differenceΔεincreased by 10%);the mechanical shock resistance reached the strongest.When the addition amount is 4 wt.%,the flexural strength and strain are increased by 7%and 17%respectively.From the perspective of corrosion weight loss and corrosion rate,the addition of nano-silica particles is beneficial to improve the acid corrosion resistance of enamel,but it is not good for alkali corrosion resistance. |
