| The past studies of the construction joint mostly focus on the simply supported beam、frame and frame column in the field. And the research of construction joints on seismic performance of structural wall is relatively less.Whether the construction joints at the bottom of the structural wall would decrease the structural wall seismic performance in an earthquake still need further research. Therefore,it has theoretical significance and practical value to study the seismic performance of reinforced concrete structural wall with construction joint. In this paper, the main research works and results are as follows:(1)6 structural walls were designed and produced to test the seismic behavior, such as failure process, the hysteretic curves, skeleton curves, energy dissipation capacity and stiffness degradation. The initial cracks and main cracks appeared at the joint surfaces for the specimens with construction joint, and appeared randomly for the ones without construction joint. The increasing reinforcement ratio led to the energy dissipation and bearing capacity increasing, but had little influence on stiffness degradation. With the increase of axial compression ratio, the ductility decreased, and stiffness degradation was faster. The seismic performance on energy dissipation capacity, bearing capacity and stiffness degradation of the specimens without construction joint is better than the ones with joints.(2)Based on the experiment and the proposed construction joint model, the finite element method was used to calculate the structural wall with construction joint. It is found that the simulation results are consistent with the experiment results. The validity of the parameters in the finite element software and the applicability of the proposed model are verified(3)In order to further investigate the effects of reinforcement ratio and axial compression ratio on the seismic behavior of structural wall with construction joint,16 models of structural walls with construction joint were simulated, and the skeleton curves and bearing capacities were studied. Results show that the bearing capacity of the wall with construction joint increases with the increase of the axial compression ratio;when the axial compression ratio is more than 0.3,the bearing capacity declined because of the compressive damage. The displacement at the peak load decreases with the increase of axial compression ratio. With the reinforcement ratio increases, the bearing capacity of the shear wall specimens increases, and the displacements at the peak load have little difference. |
