Power system lines in the event of a fault will generate fault traveling wave signal to the whole power gird,the key traveling wave fault location is the line at both ends of the traveling wave arrival time reliable detection.traveling wave non-stationary transient signal and the short duration characteristics make traveling wave detection device can be easily detected wrong arrival time or not arrival time at all,thus resulting fault location fails.In this thesis,improve Traveling Wave Fault Location the reliability and accuracy based on the Traveling Wave Fault Location System.Firstly the thesis introduces the traveling wave key technology research status at home and abroad and traveling wave positioning principle,Simulink simulation fault traveling wave transmission characteristics of the entire transmission network,on this basis,thesis propose fault traveling wave effective and precision detection method.Secondly,use the traveling wave propagation time and distance of the transmission line route relationship to fix the arrival time of the fault traveling wave time.According to the topological structure of transmission line,the double fold linear regression distance measurement is realized.The engineering problem is transformed to a mathematical problem and achieve the Loop.The fault location is achieved by calculating the intersection of coordinate axis on the line.Ultimately the thesis realize the reliable and accurate fault location.Simulation results demonstrate the practicality and efficiency of the algorithm.In the case of individual substation traveling wave arrival time is missing or error detection time can achieve reliable and accurate fault location.a whole set of traveling wave location system is provided,Final the thesis achieve reliable and accurate Traveling Wave Fault Location of the whole power gird.
