Research On The Design Language Model Of Traditional Residence Based On Ecological Adaptability

Facing the increasingly serious energy shortage and the deterioration of the ecological environment,the building’s ecological energy-saving technology will become one of the focuses that need to be paid attention to in the future of building design field.The passive energy-saving technology used in traditional Chinese houses is the result of the building’s continuous adaptation to the surrounding environment for thousands of years,and it has a high ecological adaptability.These technologies have low energy consumption and relatively simple methods,and still have a certain reference value today,and can even be transformed into modern residential buildings.Therefore,in-depth study and exploration of the ecological adaptability of traditional Chinese dwellings,summing up valuable energy-saving technology in traditional dwellings,then combining modern technical means,and exploring the ways in which the ecological concepts and ecological adaptive energy-saving technologies in traditional houses are applicable to modern residential buildings,have important practical significance for the study of ecological architecture design.The traditional houses in Taigu District belong to the typical northern courtyard house.They have its own unique characteristics and are an indispensable branch of the northern courtyard house.This article firstly uses the theoretical research method to have a preliminary present of the ecological concepts contained in traditional Chinese dwellings,and lays the theoretical foundation for the study;Secondly,the field survey method was used to investigate deeply the geographical conditions of Taigu District including its location,geographical conditions,regional climatic conditions,and historical background,and to understand the realistic foundation of its traditional residence “rooted”.;Then,through literature review and field investigation,the overall situation of Taigu District’s traditional dwellings is macro-understood,and the types are classified.;Then use the case analysis method to explore the typical cases-Sanduotang,Caixiawei old site,No.55 West Street residential,from the aspects of planning and site selection,space design,material application,technology application and structural design,analyzing the ecological adaptation of traditional dwellings in Taigu District;Finally,it was classified and summarized to construct the design language model of the traditional houses in Taigu District.Studying the traditional dwellings in Taigu District and constructing the language model of ecological adaptability design can not only arouse the vitality of local traditional dwellings and enhance people’s awareness of protection,but also enrich the theory of ecological design of local modern dwellings,provide reference for the construction of modern dwellings,and can also be used as a reference to study of the ecological adaptability of traditional dwellings in other areas.
