Shougang steelworks was founded in August 1987,mainly to utilize the second-hand equipment of the Sailan steelworks in Belgium.From 1993 to 1996,Shougang designed and manufactured the 3#converter and 3sets of 8-flow billet caster by itself successively,and realized full continuous casting production in August 1996.In order to the sustainable development of the enterprise,Shougang Steel-related system was relocated.In December 2010,Shougang steelworks was formally discontinued.With the progressive development of Shougang Park,Shougang steelworks will be demolished in accordance with the plan.This paper has done some researches on Shougang steelworks demolition project,used the project management knowledge to manage the project progress.Based on the analysis of dismantling contents,demolition quantity,construction period requirements and personnel organization of the dismantling project of Shougang Steel Works,the preparation of the project schedule was targeted,and by applying the related theories and methods of schedule and control,Analyzed the demolition project,plotted Gantt chart and network diagram,identified the key lines,and optimized the construction period.During the implementation of the project,a progress control system and measures were set up,and monitored the implementation of the project.The causes of the deviation were analyzed and remedial measures were taken to implement the project.With the method of dynamic control makes the project progress basically in accordance with the plan.This paper is mainly devoted to the application of the theory and method of modern project schedule management in large-scale demolition project.In accordance with the characteristics of large-scale demolition projects,the progress plan has been formulated in a targeted manner.During the project implementation,feasible and effective measures should be taken to control the progress.Deviations should be adjusted in time and efforts to control the actual project duration within a predetermined goal.This study provides a reference template for the progress management of large-scale demolition projects in the future.
