As new power devices emerge and power systems become more complex,this leads to a rise in resulting problems and new requirements for the monitoring and fault location of power systems.As PMU continue to become more advanced,they are seeing increasing use in power systems,particularly for monitoring and fault location.PMU provide significant improvements to traditional devices and are effective at improving the power supply quality and operating stability of power transmission systems.The aim of this thesis is to analyze zero injection nodes in power transmission systems.The power transmission system will be divided based on zero injection nodes.The thesis will examine the configuration of PMU devices using the multi-objective biogeography algorithm based on 0-1 integer programming.During the optimization process,power system lines will be divided by integrating the properties of the existing zero injection nodes of power transmission systems,thus dividing an originally large and complex power transmission system into multiple interconnected sub-sections formed of a portion of nodes and power transmission lines based on zero injection nodes.On this foundation,and while ensuring the observability of the entire power system network and of faults,the multi-objective biogeography algorithm will be used to screen and optimize the configuration of PMU nodes.At the start of the optimization process,the zero injection nodes will be equal to the configuration of PMU devices and used to optimize nodes based on the properties of the electric current of zero injection nodes,thus increasing the speed of the algorithm optimization.This optimization algorithm can generate multiple PMU layout schemes that achieve fault observability.Finally,the best layout nodes of the PMU devices will be selected based on the optimal economy of the layout of PMU devicesFollowing this optimization process,the PMU device is arranged on the nodes.According to the PMU device,the study on the fault location of wide-area transmission line is carried out.Based on the characteristics of high-speed acquisition of node information in transmission system by PMU device,the fault lines are quickly screened.The data collected by PMU devices on both sides of the fault line are used for analysis and calculation,and the fault points are located.By improving the pure fault model of transmission line,the corresponding pure fault model of transmission line was establishes according to the layout of different PMU devices on both sides of the fault transmission line.The fault line was directly determined and the fault point was located based on the node data information collected by the PMU device at high speed.This method can only use the parameter of the fault transmission line and its adjacent nodes and lines to locate the fault points without the overall transmission line topology and line parameters,effectively improving the ability of the fault location algorithm of the transmission system to locate the fault points in the absence of information.According to the simulation results,the feasibility of the research in this thesis is proved,which provides a new idea and method for the optimal configuration and fault location of PMU device in power system.
