Optical glass is an isotropic amorphous solid material,which is widely used in the fields of medicine,space,transportation and so on.With the rapid development of science and technology and the increasing demand of the market,the requirements for the high quality of optical glass are becoming more and more precise.With develop of surface accuracy,the requirement of surface polishing for precision becomes higher and higher.However,optical glass has the characteristics of low toughness,high hardness and breakup,resulting in low processing efficiency,high cost and poor surface quality.At present,the traditional grinding and polishing processing methods are still widely used,which is not conducive to the wider application of optical glass,the problem of efficient and precise processing of optical glass is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of optical popularization and application.And it is mainly carried out by skilled workers,so the accuracy of final shape and the productivity solely depend on the experience of workers.the rapid and efficient precision polishing of optical glass is an urgent problem to be solved in the process of precision.The mainly research of this paper will be described below:At first,research the polishing mechanism of optical glass in ultrasonic vibration.the mechanical effects of ultrasonic vibration mainly include the fluid impact effect of the polishing fluid,the commotion effect of ultrasonic vibration and the effect of the hammer strike of the abrasive particle.Based on the characteristics of optical glass,the mechanism of ductile regime for optical glass is described.So studying in manufacturing optical glass whose surface in hard high accuracy,high-efficient is the urgent mission in polishing processing.The second,a distribution of pressure and velocity in abrasive polishing is established based on the ultrasonic vibration machining principle.Material removal amount and high efficiency are induced,computed and discussed according to the model.Final,simulation and analysis.The analysis establishes the removal mechanism of ultrasonic vibration polishing removal function and the mathematical model of machining mechanism of polishing,were simulated and analyzed by AB AQUS software,effects of various parameters of ultrasonic polishing during the process of material removal.The main parameters of optical processing are:ultrasonic frequency,particle size,adhesion coefficient and disc spinning speed.The distribution of residual stresses(Mises)and equivalent plastic strain(EPPQ)which influences the quality of workpiece surface,the optimal technological parameters of the formulation were obtained by test and factors influencing polishing effects were analyzed.It provides a useful reference for the theoretical basis of mathematical model and simulation analysis for the study of the ultrasonic vibration polishing of the same type of optical glass.
