| Since the 21st century,with the development of the Chinese automotive manufacturing industry,the domestic automotive consumption market became more mature.Consumers pay more emphasis on premium quality while purchasing a new car.The level of quality management in an automotive plant can directly influence the sales volume and market share.That’s why,strengthen quality management of the product become the key point of quality assurance in an automotive plant.And the first priority to manage product quality is to ensure excellent quality control for car parts.Due to different nature of the quality management need in automotive assembly differ from that in other manufacturing industries,proper quality level is difficult to achieve in Company B which is an automotive OEM plant in China.Through the investigation of Company B,the main existing problems in the assembly quality management include imperfection of quality management framework,non-conformity in quality control approach,poor problem-solving system,and preventive measurement in place.Finally,a comprehensive model system of quality management was established to monitor and control the quality of assembly process.Therefore,the research will complete the following aspects:(1)B Company assembly process quality analysis,identification and improvement.Based on the literature review and the actual situation,this paper uses the most advanced TQM quality management strategies and solving methods for root cause analysis,and uses a variety of quality management tools to identify and analyze quality defects.Analyzing the main quality problems according to the defect trend,and then implementing appropriate quality management solutions to improve the quality of the parts.(2)Performance evaluation for B Company’s assembly process quality management.After the identification and improvement of quality management issues,this paper builds the performance evaluation system for B Company.And comprehensively control and evaluates assembly quality scheme by using SPC(Statistical process control)method,and makes the comparison between improvement before and after. |
