Research On The Design Of Quanzhou Cultural Products Under The Background Of Maritime Silk Road

Quanzhou is the core area of the 21 st Century Maritime Silk Road,the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road,and plays a vital role in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.By deeply excavating the cultural elements of the "Maritime Silk Road" in Quanzhou,promoting the public’s awareness of the protection of the cultural heritage of the "Maritime Silk Road",from the perspective of improving the tourism attractiveness of Quanzhou,design and develop cultural and creative products with regional cultural characteristics.Through this research,I hope that people will have a deeper understanding of the Quanzhou culture under the background of "Belt and Road Initiative",fully understand the spirit of the maritime Silk Road in Quanzhou area,and no longer regard the Maritime Silk Road culture as a distant symbol.This study focuses on the analysis of Maritime Silk Road culture and the extraction of cultural elements of Quanzhou Maritime Silk Road to explore the ways and methods of traditional culture in cultural and creative products,and to practice in the design of cultural and creative products.This thesis adopts three design methods: element extraction,contextual communication and functional fusion method for research and analysis.Based on the background of the Maritime Silk Road,this thesis divided material culture and intangible culture into two research directions,sorting and extracting its elements separately.The Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum is a maritime museum that reflects the history of ancient overseas transportation,and the various economic and cultural exchanges that have resulted from it,showing the great contribution of the Chinese nation to the development of the "Maritime Silk Road",as well as many great inventions in navigation and shipbuilding technology,this thesis takes the basic elements shown in the maritime Silk Road culture as the main object of analysis,from the unique religious culture,artifact culture,clothing culture and other unique aspects to the Quanzhou Overseas Transportation History Museum,the main features of its elements are extracted,combined with the design method to form the final Quanzhou cultural product design under the background of the Maritime Silk Road.
