In the process of ship construction,the workload of outer panel forming is very large,and at present,the current forming methods have many shortcomings both at home and abroad.For example,the springback problem of cold forming methods can hardly be solved and the cost of equipment is particularly high;for the thick plates with large curvature,the processing efficiency and capacity of line heating are insufficient.With the rapidly developing of shipbuilding industry,and the existing methods for processing of complex curvature plates can no longer satisfy the requirements of the industry.Considering the advantages and disadvantages of cold forming methods and hot forming methods,moving area heating method is proposed in this article for processing complex curvature plates.The method is based on linear heating forming,and uses a relatively large-sized electromagnetic induction heat source to increase the output power during the processing process to expand the deformation range of the processed plate,thereby achieving improvement in processing capacity and processing efficiency.The moving area heating forming method inherits the advantages of line heating such as the equipment is simple and easy to operate,but makes up for the defects.This method is very suitable for the processing of complex curvature plates of shipsThe purpose of this study is to establish the moving area heating forming method for the ship’s complex curvature plate.In order to achieve this purpose,firstly,combine the basic theory of thermo-elasticity with the characteristics of the hot forming process to establish a finite element simulation model;and then,exploring the influence of heat source power,speed and size on the variable field based on the relationship between plate shape and strain distribution,furthermore,by defining the conversion parameters,the correspondence between the parameters of the heat source and the strain field is determined.Next,analyze the effect of the heating path distribution on the strain distribution,including the heating path position,heating path parallel and cross.In order to improve the molding accuracy,the longitudinal bending deformation along the heating path direction during the processing is analyzed in this paper.Finally,introduce the overall plan for the application of moving area heating forming method and verified it with the common curved plate in the ship.
