Study On The Spatial Morphology Of Traditional Bouyei Settlements In Southwest Guizhou From The Perspective Of Culture And Ecology

Rural settlements are the earliest living forms of human beings,which embodies the the wisdom of survival and co-prosperity between human and nature.But in recent years,Influenced by policy,many rural settlements have lost their original appearance,which is caused by their incomprehension of the cultural connotation and ecological value of settlements.Therefore,this paper focuses on the research on the spatial form of traditional Bouyei settlements in southwest of the guizhou province,and through the Bouyei national culture and the ecological attributes,it concretely explains the characteristics of the cultural and ecological integration of the spatial form of traditional settlements.And from the perspective of sustainable development,we makes an objective analysis of the modernization evolution of traditional settlements,which provides a theoretical basis for the protection and transformation of rural settlements.This paper uses the method of interdisciplinary research,through the history of the Bouyei nationality,cultural characteristics and social form of research,to explore features of the Bouyei traditional settlement space associated with culture,and meanwhile the influence of the cultural characteristics and ecological attributes on the spatial form of settlements is revealed through the correlation analysis of the settlement patterns with their environmental characteristics and regional climate.In the second chapter,we expound the history,national culture and ecological connotation of the Bouyei Nationality.The third chapter focuses on the settlement form,analyzes the settlement space form of Bouyei Nationality in Southwest Guizhou from the macro meso micro level,and introduces the quantitative research method to reveal the characteristics of settlement space form and its cultural and ecological concepts through the qualitative and quantitative synergy.Macroscopically,it focuses on the study of location selection and landscape pattern characteristics of settlements;on the meso level,it quantifies the settlement boundary and the internal spatial form of the settlement;and on the micro level,it mainly studies the architectural group form and the architectural monomer form.In the fourth chapter,based on the cultural and green characteristics of the traditional settlements,the paper extracts the typical settlements,and then verifies the green ecological attributes of the traditional Bouyei settlements by analyzing the terrain adaptability and climate adaptability of the typical villages.In the fifth chapter,the practical significance of this study is proved through the translation of modern cases.Through the study of the combination of theory and practice,the conclusion of this study is expected to provide help for the protection of traditional settlements and the modern application of traditional settlements.
