With the development of information technology industry upgrading,the integration trend of power devices puts forward more stringent requirements for heat management,which requires maintaining the devices or components into sufficient temperature uniformity besides keeping the power devices into a suitable temperature range.The plate heat pipe is a good thermal conductivity component based on phase change heat transfer with simple structure,so it has a broad application prospect in the field of heat dissipation of power devices.How to apply the uniform temperature performance of plate heat pipe has become a new direction in the field of optimization application.In this experiment,a kind of flat heat pipe with aluminum channel structure is designed and manufactured.The performance of starting,heat transfer and average temperature of flat heat pipe is studied by using DC liquid cooling system.The main work contents and conclusions include:during the experiment,monitoring the thermal resistance response characteristics of the heat pipe can be found that the change of the size of the one-dimensional thermal resistance R1Dunder different heating power is used as the index to measure the internal phase change intensity of the flat heat pipe.At low power 20W-40W,the heat pipe starts slowly and the thermal resistance is large.When the power increases to 55W-85W the one-dimensional thermal resistance of the flat heat pipe decreases,and the one-dimensional thermal resistance value finally stabilizes in the range 0.05-0.06K/W.The start-up,heat transfer and average temperature performance of flat heat pipe at 10%-70%liquid filling rate were compared and tested.As a result,the average temperature of flat heat pipe is the best when the liquid filling rate is 40%,and the one-dimensional thermal resistance R1D of flat heat pipe is the least when 50%.The average temperature capacity of flat heat pipe under different heating power and cooling velocity is tested by keeping other working conditions unchanged.When the heating power is increasing,the surface mean temperature of the evaporation side of the plate heat pipe gradually becomes better,and does not deteriorate with the increase of the power.Using the dip test platform,the heat transfer and average temperature performance of the flat heat pipe at-20°,-10°,0°,10°and 20°were compared experimentally.At different tilt angles,the one-dimensional thermal resistance of flat heat pipe is increasing,but the average temperature performance is better than that under horizontal working condition negative 10°dip angle.
