With the continuous growth of China’s national economy,the amount of cash issued is increasing year by year.Banks are also increasing business outlets to meet people’s demand for cash deposit and withdrawal.In order to facilitate the management and guarantee the currency security,the bank often deposits the cash in the vault of a sub branch and entrusts the escort company to distribute the required cash to the sub branch through the securicar within the certain time according to the needs of the business outlets.However,due to the lack of systematic planning of escort route,the distribution cost of escort business in China is on the high side.Therefore,how to reduce the cost of cash escort distribution without affecting the service quality and cash security is one of the key problems to be solved,which improves the level of lean management.This thesis discusses how to reasonably and effectively optimize the escort route of the securicar under the specific conditions of meeting the safety requirements and considering the traffic jam factors,so that the securicar can reach the designated bank outlets within the specified time range as much as possible.And at the same time,the distribution cost of the escort can be minimized.Through enterprise survey and literature review,the thesis summarizes the basic characteristics of cash escort distribution business and analyzes its main problems.It considers the traffic jam risk and safety problems during cash escort and establishes a vehicle route optimization model with time window.It designs an improved genetic algorithm which is suitable for the research problem and carries out case analysis to verify the effectiveness of the model and algorithm.Combined with the escort industry provided by the bank based on the traffic network and public security management information released by Wuhan Public Security Bureau,the existing escort route of local construction bank is optimized and compared with the original scheme.It is found that the cost of the optimized scheme is lower than that of the original scheme,which shows that the optimization of the vehicle route of the securicar is indeed an effective way to reduce the cost of the bank’s escort distribution. |
