Additive manufacturing technology is a kind of technology forming parts layer by layer.This technology relies on the CAD model of parts,which has high processing efficiency simple production process,and high flexibility for the parts with complex shape.The forming processing of parts is mainly controlled by hardware and software.The software system has an important influence on the formability,forming accuracy and production time of parts,so it has been widely concerned by scholars at home and abroad.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a suitable software system for machining process to improve the quality of parts production and realize automatic production.Based on the secondary development platform of NX,this paper research and develops some modules of the software system suitable for additive manufacturing and achieves good results by testing the target components.Firstly,based on the requirements of visualization,a modeling module is developed to import the 3D model of the target part and realize the function of partitioning the model that is,by selecting the appropriate partition surface,a part of the entity is designated as the matrix,and the other part is the additive area,which provides the basis for the subsequent process planning.Then,based on the requirements of additive manufacturing process,the module of layering and path planning is developed and researched,which provides two ways of layering: equal thickness plane layering,equal thickness free-form surface layering and two ways of path planning:grating scanning,contour offset.A dialog box is developed to predict the model size of single layer and single pass weld.The calculation of weld width and reinforcement is realized by common process parameters of additive manufacturing,which is used to determine the deviation distance and weld lapratio in the process of delamination and path planning.Finally,the post-processing module of point data is developed based on the generated layer path,and the output of point data structure text file which can be used in Kuka robot is realized,so as to meet the actual production process of robot welding gun position control and adjustment of welding gun position and posture.Through the software test of four target parts,it is confirmed that the above modules have achieved good test results,can meet the initial design function of the module,and is suitable for the actual production process.
