| Short-term thermal exposure experiences exist in daily life,such as commuting to and from work,short-term outdoor work,transition of office building space and so on.Most modern buildings control indoor temperatures with air-conditioning systems,but it is difficult for a single air-conditioning system to satisfy the requirements of thermal comfort and energy saving property simultaneously.The combination of air-conditioning systems and personal equipment makes it possible.Working position has been widely used in modern society.Most office environment are shared by multiple people and the ambient temperatures required by different personnel are diversiform.The control process of environmental parameters in non-independent offices has not been clarified yet.In the common experiment of artificial climatic chamber,subjects passively accepted the environment mostly and the active controlling requirements were ignored.The initiative can make environmental temperatures more close to subjects’ real demand and reduce energy waste.In this study,air-conditioning systems combined with personal equipment were applied for thermal comfort adjustment in an actual office chamber and active control of environmental temperatures was provided for subjects after thermal exposure.Thermal sensation votes and thermal comfort votes of subjects were analyzed before and after using personal heating and cooling equipment to explore the effects of personal equipment on subjects’ thermal reactions.At the same time,define the questionnaire of adjusting ambient temperatures during the control phase as the requirements for changing temperatures.The relevance of requirements for changing temperatures and indoor temperatures,exposure duration,average thermal sensation votes were established,and the influence of exposure temperatures,exposure duratio n and personal equipment on the final requirements for changing temperature were explored with Software SPSS.The research results provided evidence for predicting requirements for changing temperature in different environments.The research in this paper shows that the extension ability of ambient temperatures in the cold environment is stronger after using personal equipment.The ambient temperatures selected by subjects can be extended by 0.6~3.0 ℃ in the cold environment while the temperature extension range in the warm environment is 0.5~1.6 ℃.Compared with cold exposure,subjects were more sensitive to the indoor temperature changes in the hot exposure environment.The energy saving property of personal cooling equipment improved when exposure temperature reduced from 30 ℃ to 28 ℃ and the energy saving property of personal heating equipment reduced when exposure temperature increased from 14 ℃ to 18 ℃.In the non-neutral environment,there are linear correlations between subjects’ requirements for changing temperatures and average thermal sensation votes at the same time.In the warm environment,the independent action of exposure temperatures,exposure duration,and personal equipment on the final requirements for changing temperatures are statistically significant with independent effect of exposure temperatures being the most significant and independent effect of exposure duration being the least.In the cold exposure conditions,the interaction item of three factors has a statistically significant effect on the final requirements for changing temperatures.No matter whether using personal heating equipment or not,the interaction between exposure temperature and exposure duration is statistically significant and the effect of exposure temperature is statistically significant in the conditions of different exposure duration. |
