Spatial Relevance Between "Social-Utopia" And "Architectural-Utopia"

Since the birth of Utopia in Homer’s time in ancient Greece,although Utopia has always been a utopian world,it has a positive,positive,true,good and beautiful color.It has become the pronoun of "ideal" and can also be defined as a kind of ideological height and values.Therefore,thesis only borrows the superficial meaning of the word "Utopia",uses "social-utopia" to refer to people’s good imagination of the ideal society,and uses "architectural-utopia" to refer to architects’ design ideas of pursuing the ideal form of architecture beyond the reality.Secondly,"social-utopia" influences the way of thinking of "architectural-utopia",and "architectural-utopia" also becomes the booster of the development of "social-utopia".The social-utopia is spiritual,and the architectural-utopia is spatial construction.It can be said that the former is metaphysical,the latter is metaphysical,the so-called metaphysical is the way,while the metaphysical is the tool,and the two "the way and the tool live together,and the tool carries the way".Thesis attempts to explore the spatial relationship between social-utopia and architectural-utopia.The research redefines the meaning of social-utopia and architectural-utopia in the context of Chinese society,starting from the relevance between them.First of all,using the top-down theoretical analysis and the bottom-up case analysis,this paper makes a preliminary discussion on the differences of architectural works when the social-utopia and the architectural-utopia are combined and interacted,and analyzes the implicit relationship between the two demands;Secondly,it makes a preliminary analysis of the different responses of architects under the relevance of the social-utopia and the architectural-utopia Way of response: on the one hand,it reflects the tendency of expression of "objective rationality" concerning "era,order and technology".On the other hand,it reflects the expression tendency of "subjective mind" in the pursuit of "poetic,nostalgic and romantic".These two contrasting ways of response reveal that design eventually becomes a pattern of "one body and two sides".Finally,on the basis of "objective rationality" and "subjective mind",the author makes a deep analysis of the selected classic cases,itemizes the design methods from "abstract scene creation" to "concrete space realization" under the guidance of Utopia,and further summarizes the concrete practical strategies under the spatial relevance.Based on the different ways of response under the connection of two kinds of Utopian thoughts,Thesis analyzes the connection logic system followed by Utopian thoughts.First,under the "objective rational" thinking,it mainly considers from the three levels of"spirit of the times","problems of the present world" and "local society",and summarizes that architects respectively use "space reconstruction"“ There are three ways to solve a rchitectural problems: technical rationality and expediency strategy.Secondly,under the thinking of "subjective mind",we mainly think from three aspects of "Pastoral","local no stalgia" and "body return",and summarize that architects give solutions in three ways of architectural problems: Poetic Dwelling "," spiritual prototype "and" spatial experience ".
