| With the rapid development of modern society and the continuous improvement in the quality of life of the people,more and more people are choosing automobiles as their means of transportation,and the number of automobiles is constantly increasing.The effective management of automobiles has become an important link in road traffic safety.The research of vehicle license plate recognition has also attracted more and more people’s attention and achieved fruitful results.The research of license plate recognition has become more and more mature,but it is not very good for license plate recognition in complex environments.This paper studies the research and application of license plate recognition in complex environment.The general license plate recognition program can only achieve a good recognition rate under good environmental conditions and good license plate conditions.For license plates in complex environments: such as defaced license plates,dim light,blurred,license plate deformation under the circumstances of poor license plate recognition.In view of this situation,this paper has carried out an in-depth study on license plate recognition.The main research contents are as follows:1.According to the research of defaced license plate,an improved template matching license plate recognition method is proposed,which can effectively identify defaced license plate.2.In the case of darker and brighter light,the noise is passed through the space equalization process to improve the contrast of the license plate area,make the license plate characters easier to recognize,and increase the recognition rate of license plates in complex cases.3.Combining HOG features,skeleton features,and partial character input methods,the classifier is obtained through SVM training,which can effectively identify license plates in the case of dim light.This method can detect and identify license plate in real time,and can be used to make license plate recognition equipment in parking lots,communities,companies and other places.The method of license plate recognition proposed in this paper has a good recognition rate for many scenes,such as: defaced license plate,dim light and other circumstances have a goodrecognition effect. |
