Research On The Working Capital Management Of Gree Electric Appliances From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

Working capital is the "flowing blood" of an enterprise,running through the whole process of its procurement,production and sales,providing a steady stream of vitality and vitality for the normal operation of the enterprise.Martin Christopher believes that competition in the 21 st century is between supply chain and supply chain.With the continuous deepening of theoretical research,more scholars began to introduce "supply chain" into the field of working capital management,breaking through the traditional working capital management ideas,and establishing a new method of working capital management in line with the modern economic environment.Faced with the situation of slowing economic growth at home and abroad,the traditional white goods manufacturing industry has been strongly impacted and its overall development is in a low state.In such an economic environment,companies seeking ways to improve the level of working capital management from the perspective of supply chain management can be a beneficial guarantee for helping themselves through difficult times.Based on the relevant theories of supply chain management and working capital management,this article selects Gree,the leading enterprise in the white goods industry,as the research object.First,this article study the current status of Gree Electric’s working capital management,and introduce Gree Electric’s working capital management strategy based on supply chain management from three aspects of procurement link,production link and marketing link: in the procurement process,Gree adopts strict procurement strategy to strengthen supply Business relationship management and upward expansion of the industrial chain;in the production process,Gree optimizes the production process through the information system,explores a comprehensive quality management model and focuses on technological innovation;in the marketing process,it develops omni-channel sales,adopts a transaction model of cash before delivery,and formulates sales Rebate policy.Then,combined with Gree’s management status,it analyzes the working capital management performance of Gree from the perspective of supply chain,and comparative analyzed with the industry level,further use the entropy method to comprehensively evaluate Gree’s working capital management performance.Then,through research,it is found that Gree Electric’s working capital management level is quite prominent in the industry,but there are also some problems.Combining these problems,we proposecorresponding optimization suggestions from the perspective of the supply chain.Finally,on the basis of Gree Electric’s case study,it gives suggestions to promote the working capital management of Chinese white goods enterprises: integrate and optimize upstream supply chains and reach strategic cooperation with suppliers;implement lean production models and optimize production processes;strengthen customer relationships,shorten the distance with users,and promote the sustainable development of enterprises.Through the case study of Gree Electric,it is found that the integration of supply chain ideas into working capital management is of great significance.It is hoped that the research in this article can enrich the practical experience in this field,and at the same time provide reference value for Chinese white goods enterprises to promote working capital management from the perspective of the supply chain.
