Architecture major mainly includes: construction engineering technology,engineering management,engineering cost,architectural design and so on.These disciplines are designed to cultivate professional and skilled talents who can be competent for practical work in the construction industry for the society,facing the construction front line and all positions of management work,This requires that the relevant professional education and teaching workers take full account of professional characteristics in the construction of teaching resources.The development of virtual simulation model and its application in the teaching of architecture major in secondary vocational school effectively avoid the phenomenon that the theoretical research is too important to the actual work in the process of personnel training,and the directional teaching reform based on the characteristics of the major and the development of the industry greatly facilitates the teaching of the relevant major.In order to explore the application of virtual simulation models in the teaching of vocational architecture majors,this paper takes the construction school of Guizhou Province as the research object.Through literature research,questionnaire surveys,interviews and other methods,from the teaching effect,teaching goals,teaching content,Teaching process,teaching evaluation and other aspects to analyze and summarize the role and deficiencies of the virtual simulation model in the teaching of vocational architecture.Using virtual simulation models for teaching,students have achieved ideal results in both mastering professional theories and improving operational skills,but the results are not obvious in terms of training students’ methods and social abilities.It is concluded through analysis that the reason is that in the teaching of architecture majors,teachers have failed to fully understand the basic elements in the teaching system,nor have they been able to fully integrate these series of elements with the virtual simulation model;in the entire process of teaching,The advantages of virtual simulation models are not well demonstrated.This article uses the relevant theories such as "doing high school" theory,constructivist learning theory,situational teaching theory,"experience tower" theory and other related theories,combining the advantages of virtual simulation models,the characteristics of architecture majors and the characteristics of vocational students,from The teaching objective,teaching content,teaching process,and teaching evaluation explain how to give full play to the teaching advantages of the virtual simulation model in the teaching of architecture professions in secondary vocational schools.At the end of the article,the author combined with the countermeasures and suggestions put forward,designed the teaching case design for the "safe and civilized construction" teaching project in the "Construction Engineering Safety Management" of the secondary vocational school,with a view to providing reference for relevant teachers and researchers of the architectural profession.
