Large diameter pipeline has been widely used in the industrial field.As it is related to trade settlement,accurate flow measurement is very important,the research on the complex fluid-sound coupling mechanism is of great significance to the improvement of ultrasonic flow measurement performance.Therefore,this article in view of the industrial use of large diameter pipelines of water flow and the flow field of the use of ultrasonic flowmeter and key-sound field coupling mechanism has carried on the simulation and experimental research,a systematic analysis of large diameter pipeline in the flow field distribution features,reveals the sensor installation structure for the integrated effects of flow field and acoustic field,acoustic wave propagation in the pipe fluid dynamics process is given.The estimated flow rate and calculation deviation of the ultrasonic flowmeter model in large diameter pipelines are calculated by the sound pressure signal received by the transducer’s sound pressure,and the results are verified and optimized by experiments.In this paper the main work accomplished are:(1)The ray-tracing method is used to simulate the propagation characteristics of acoustic wave in fluid,and the ray-offset distance and nonlinear propagation trajectory under different flow velocities are calculated.The results can be applied to the correction of actual propagation trajectory length,which provides a reference for improving the measurement accuracy of flow.(2)The multi-physical field coupling software COMSOL was used to simulate the three-dimensional model of ultrasonic flowmeter,and to explore the stream-sound coupling characteristics in pipeline fluid and its influence on ultrasonic measurement.The standard k-ε model was used to simulate the steady flow field in the pipeline,and the intermittent finite element method was used to simulate the sound field in the sound field,the dynamic process of acoustic wave propagation under different pipe diameters and different velocities is analyzed,and the complete ultrasonic measurement results are obtained.(3)A DN200 ultrasonic flowmeter was used for the experimental study of ultrasonic flow measurement.The simulation results and the actual measurement results were compared and verified,and the deviation between the simulation model and the actual measurement was calculated.The causes of the deviation were analyzed,and corresponding improvement suggestions were given.
