Drilling technology is the only way to obtain physical samples of rock and soil in tunnel engineering.Traditional drilling methods use on-site cores,laboratory processing and determination of their mechanical parameters,which are time-consuming and labor-intensive and difficult to completely simulate the in-situ state of the rock mass.In recent years,with the rapid development of micro-processing technology,a material basis has been provided for monitoring,collecting,measuring,processing and storing drilling data during the drilling process.With the start of construction of major projects such as the Sichuan-Tibet railway,deep-sea tunnels,and cross-sea tunnels,innovative drilling technologies adapted to extremely complex geological conditions have made it urgent to obtain real-time geological information in front of the tunnel.The rapid development of digital drilling technology has brought geological exploration technology to a deeper and faster level,and has promoted the development of tunnel engineering,oil and gas resource development,mining and underground space construction,and has a wide range of engineering application values.Based on the geological intelligent drilling sensing equipment developed by Shandong University,this paper has carried out a large number of indoor experimental research around the indoor rock mass multi-source drilling information test.The full text produced nearly 100 test drilling rock masses;produced and measured more than 200 sets of standard rock specimens;completed more than 70 sets of parameters and acoustic response tests while drilling;completed drill pipe stress wave testing and rock natural frequency monitoring five More than a hundred groups,and based on the EDEM numerical simulation software to carry out the preliminary study of the numerical simulation of rock drilling,the topic selection has important theoretical significance and application value.The following innovations have been achieved:(1)The geological intelligent drilling sensing equipment was independently developed,and the horizontal directional drilling of indoor rock mass under true triaxial loading was realized for the first time.By embedding PID algorithm into the system,the quantitative control and accurate monitoring of drilling parameters are realized.A drilling program with constant parameters for rock mass was designed,and the shortcomings of the current digital drilling measurement methods were deeply analyzed.A digital drilling measurement method with constant speed-rotational’ speed as the standard was put forward.(2)Based on rock-like material design,28 sets of drilling test rock masses with interface dip angles of 0°,15°,30°,45°,and 60° were poured.An indoor multi-dip rock formation interface identification test was carried out,and the response of drilling parameters,drilling energy on the rock interface,and the influence of different interface dip angles and drilling speeds on the response of the rock interface were explored.(3)Around the study of rock parameter identification and prediction,the rock indoor horizontal directional drilling test was carried out,the sound level during the drilling process was monitored,and the rock drilling process was simulated based on the EDEM numerical simulation software.The low-speed impact process of a tunnel drilling rig was simulated,and the energy loss of the drill pipe stress wave and the natural frequency response characteristics of the rock under the action of low-speed impact of different types of rocks were explored,and the characterization relationship between the drilling parameters,the drilling response and the rock mechanics parameters was established.A comprehensive evaluation system for tunnel rock mass was designed,and the integrated compilation of five modules of engineering information,drill bit information,data input,analysis and comprehensive rock mass evaluation was completed,and the intelligent prediction of rock parameters and the intelligent identification of rock interface were realized.
