Porous media gas premixed combustion technology has the advantages of high combustion efficiency,low pollution emissions,strong flame stability,large adjustment ratio range,and high space utilization.It has great development potential and a wide application range in engineering field.In this thesis,the stable combustion range and combustion characteristics of a porous media burner with a cylindrical shape are studied by experimental methods.Under the guidance of the porous combustion theory,this study used natural gas to experimentally study the combustion characteristics and flame propagation of cylindrical porous burners.A premixed combustion experiment platform for porous media was set up to study the combustion characteristics and flame surface propagations of cylinder porous burner combustion under different combustion intensities levels and different equivalent ratios.At the same time,incomplete combustion flame on the burner surface phenomenon,flame surface fluctuation phenomenon,and free flame phenomenon in different equivalent ratios under low thermal load are studied.The uneven distribution of combustion intensity in different equivalent ratios under middle thermal load conditions are studied.The after-flame phenomenon in the external space of the burner and the conditions for the combustion to blow off under the condition of high heat load and different equivalence ratios are studied.The effects of the structural characteristics and resistance characteristics of the cylindrical burner on the stable combustion range were studied.The effects and its influence law of the pore diameter of the porous medium,the ratio of the length to diameter of the burner,and the ratio of the inlet to outlet of the diameter of the burner on the stable combustion range were analyzed.By changing the pore diameter of the porous medium,the ratio of the length to diameter of the burner,and the ratio of the inlet to outlet of the diameter of the burner,the effects of the resistance characteristics the porous medium and structural characteristics of the porous burner on the flame temperature distribution and the production characteristics of nitrogen oxides were studied.The research results provide theoretical and technical support for the research,design and calculation of natural gas cylindrical porous media premixed burners.
