In recent years,virtual reality technology has developed rapidly,showing its application value and potential in many fields.Virtual reality materials must be produced by panoramic camera and panoramic image stitching technology.A panoramic camera is a shooting device with a large field of view,which is generally composed of multiple cameras.The panoramic image stitching technology is a digital image processing technology that synthesizes the images collected by a panoramic camera into a panoramic image.The purpose of this paper is to efficiently obtain higher-quality panoramic images,and conduct in-depth research on panoramic imaging technology.The main contents are as follows:(1)Discussed in detail the various links of the panoramic image stitching process.The common methods of color correction,image preprocessing,image matching,optical flow method interpolation virtual viewing angle,image fusion and other links have been deeply studied.(2)A panoramic camera device with a large field of view was produced,and a matching image algorithm was selected to achieve panoramic stitching.At the same time,a large number of experiments and analyses were carried out,and it was found that the 720° panoramic image had a bottom occlusion problem during the research.Aiming at this problem,an innovative method for removing the bottom occlusion of panoramic images based on bottom step shooting is proposed.In this method,complete information is obtained by step-by-step shooting with a bottom fisheye camera,and then the original bottom image is spliced and fused to eliminate the occlusion,and a complete bottom image is obtained.Through this method,the bottom image occlusion problem that affects the integrity and aesthetics of the 720°panoramic image is solved.(3)Research the color uniformity algorithm,and research and analyze the basic principles of some commonly used color uniformity algorithms between images.Through color uniformity processing,the problem of inconsistent colors of panoramic images caused by factors such as step-by-step shooting of the bottom camera and different shooting angles can be alleviated.After theoretical analysis and experimental research,it is found that the global-based Wallis uniformity algorithm may cause deviations in the uniformity results.This deviation is caused by the mutual influence of different areas in the image.Aiming at this problem,an innovative Wallis uniform color algorithm based on image segmentation is proposed.This method first uses the region growing method for image segmentation,and then the corresponding image regions after segmentation are processed by the Wallis uniform color algorithm.Experiments and quantitative analysis of this method show that the Wallis uniform color algorithm based on image segmentation can effectively improve the color consistency of panoramic images.Compared with the global-based Wallis uniform color algorithm,the Wallis uniform color algorithm based on image segmentation has a significant improvement in effect.
