| With the popularity of online learning,online education and learning have gradually become the trend of adult vocational training.Adult online learning has incomparable advantages over traditional learning methods,but it also produces many problems,such as the inability to accurately recognize the degree of knowledge of oneself,the inability to maintain focus on learning continuously,and after a period of learning,it begins to fail to keep up with the learning progress and can’t find the reason,etc.The emergence of these problems affects the effect of adult vocational training.An emerging data analysis and visualization tool in the field of learning analysis—learning dashboard can collect learning data,analyze learning information,visually display learners’ learning status,promote learners’ self-evaluation and self-reflection,and improve learning efficiency.The reasonable application of the learning dashboard on the adult learning platform can effectively solve the above problems and improve the effect of adult online learning.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of the problems existing in adult online learning,and studies the design and application of adult learning dashboard under the guidance of self-directed theory.First of all,the relevant theories are studied,and the laws of adult learning are understood.According to the theoretical guidance,the design principles of the learning dashboard are summarized and the design framework is designed.Secondly,a learner model and academic state prediction model for adult online learning are constructed to provide support for the learning dashboard to process learning data.Thirdly,it realizes the visualization of learners’ learning behavior information,knowledge point mastery and academic status.The achieved effects are displayed and accompanied by text explanations and descriptions.Finally,the actual application effect of the learning dashboard on the adult learning platform is evaluated from the perspective of quantitative analysis and questionnaire survey.Based on the theory of self-directed learning,this paper designs and implements a learning dashboard for adult online learning.Finally,the learning dashboard is applied and evaluated in practice,and it is concluded that the learning dashboard can effectively help by visually displaying learning-related information.Adult learners have a multi-faceted understanding of individual learning conditions and real-time control of their own learning status,which can stimulate learners’ interest in learning,help them clarify learning goals,and promote learners’ self-evaluation and reflection,and improve online learning effects. |
