Conceptual Design Of The Future Residential Space In The Lunar Polar Region

Since the USSR launched the lunar No.1 in 1959,human beings have explored the moon for more than 60 years,including flying and landing.Especially after 2000,lunar exploration has been carried out in major space countries such as the United States,Europe,China,Japan and India.In the next 20 years,human beings will send astronauts to the south pole of the moon for a long-term stay.Wu Weiren,chief designer of our nation’s lunar exploration program,also said that in the future,Chinese astronauts will consider landing at the south pole of the moon for a long-term stay,which involves how to give astronauts a good rest space in the polar region of the moon.At present,the project of lunar closed long-term survival research in China is "yuegong-1".In this project,the experimenters live in a space of only 7.5 cubic meters.Although the experiment has successfully realized the long-term life of the experimenters on the lunar surface,There is room for further refinement and design in the cabin layout.Considering the particularity of living in the polar regions of the moon,this study is on the earth Based on the analysis and comparison of the clossed living space with similar environment on the globe and the rest area of the astronauts on the international space station,and using the design thinking and other design methods,taking the crew cabin of "Yuegong-1" as the blueprint,the living space suitable for the future astronauts living in the polar region of the moon is sorted out and designed.The design is based on the south pole of the moon and the crew cabin of "Yuegong-1".Based on the three important factors of lunar habitation:safety,economy and livability,it subdivides six design principles of living space,and designs and optimizes the space layout of crew cabin where astronauts live for a long time on the moon.In the design of the works,based on the theories of habitation,design,color research,and traditional Chinese color theory,the design style is confirmed and the preliminary scheme of the works is produced;the case of the earth and the Antarctic environment of the moon is selected,and the advantages of the design works in the similar environment of the earth are applied to the lunar residence by using the Nordic design style and organic functionalism In the design of space.In addition,the concept of smart home can also be introduced into the crew cabin to facilitate astronauts to use mobile communication devices such as mobile phones to complete the adjustment of facilities in the personal living cabin,so as to have a more comfortable and convenient living experience.
